“I see... That explains it...” said Rys, nodding in understanding.

“It isn’t that Folmina or Ghoro or Levana are doing anything wrong per se...” Taclyde added, awkwardly scratching the back of his head. “It’s just...well...the building won’t hold up if they keep going at it like this every time, to say nothing of our faculty...”

“Yes, I see what you mean...” said Flio, nodding and folding his arms in thought. He looked down into the arena, full of students still sopping wet from having been just submerged in the water current. Rylnàsze, noticing her parents in the stands, looked up from drying out her clothes to give them a cheerful wave—a little more restrained than usual, given that class was still in session, but a very Rylnàsze-like gesture nonetheless.

Flio lifted his hand, discreetly waving back.

◇Houghtow City—Entertainment District◇

In one corner of Houghtow City, right between the Enchanted Frigate staging ground and city hall on the other side, was a part of town where the streets were packed with quality restaurants, one after another. In one such establishment, Flio and Rys were being shown to their table.

“This shop just opened the other day, you know, but Byleri and the others say the food here is excellent,” said Rys, her spirits high as she took her seat. “I’ve wanted to come here with you, my lord husband, ever since!”

It was just about the start of lunch time, but the shop around them was already jam packed with customers as a delightfully appetizing smell wafted into the dining hall from the kitchen.

“It certainly seems like a quality establishment,” said Flio, nodding in approval at the sights and smells. “It’s been a busy morning, hasn’t it. Let me see... The Calgosi Coast’s defenders want special training to handle terrestrial magic beasts.
